Day 3 of M-B Fashion Week Lj
As I left home to get to the 3rd day of MBFWLJ it felt like I was going on a 3rd date. You got safely through that peculiar effects of infatuation, but you still got that secret rush.
Milica Vukadinović dressed her guys in sporty-chic-street style and it was pure exuberence of youth on the runway! Loved her stuff and I see no reason whatsoever why women shouldn’t wear Milica’s cool T-shirts or long sleeved sweaters. I was quite intoxicated by talent of a young designer from Serbia.
After men came the ladies. Strong, sophisticated and chic. Tanja Zorn’s collection showed mature restraint. Exquisite tailoring, beautiful fabric and just a touch of feathers for some romance. Smart and sexy.
When it comes to fashion I always go with my emotions. And I could easily have a meaningfull relationship with something that comes in a Susnyara bag. Mea culpa, but Nina Šušnjara blew my mind with her collection. It was flowy and structured, soft and hard, asymmetric, versatile, I loved the colour pallete and her attetion to detail.
After 3 days of our homemade fashion I made a decision. Homemade meals from now on only, we all know that cheap, fast food is not healthy. We should be supporting our local community, our designers and seamstresses. Fascinating individuals. Besides, when practising my shopping ritual I have this great expectations and then and the end I have to settle for generic fashion. From now on I am taking a grown-up approach, developing a monogamous relationship with our local brands.
