Ljubljana Fashion Fantasy Week
Ljubljana Fashion Week gave us inspiring three days of real fashion, unspoiled by trend. First two days we could feast our senses on clothing, music and the whole atmosphere, the last, third day was all about getting those great pieces into our closets, strait from the runway! It was a portal to pure joy and happiness a.k.a. Fashion Showroom.
As M. and I sat down in our glittery stylings I noticed that it has been a while, since fashion designers shared their visions for the new world at a fashion week, so I was inclined to break free from confinement and control of every day routine. After all, fashion is a fantasy playground.
We were offered a spectrum of personal perspectives. Some fashion designers gave us dynamic and vibrant performances. Their work was occupying every part of my brain. Colour, form, function and vision fused together in an amazingly balanced way.
Credit should be given where credit is due but there was one thing about the event that might annoy. While some fashion designers created inspired inventions, others created all around yawning in the audience.
I suppose that there’s no need to analyze what went wrong and get all negative, let’s rather focus on the positive. So take a few minutes to simply be delighted.

Many people in the 20th century thought that faith happened only on Sabbath day and the rest of their lives took place on another day. How can we experience life in all its fullness, if we condemn ourselves of living with a constant need for temporary distractions from reality and routine? At this point we can begin to romanticize the now as a way of life. With a little help from fashion. 😉
